Default New Mugen S2K :D

Greetings to all those who have helped me so far in my quest / obsession with my s2k past fantasy and now current reality. I have browsed this site as a non member for many years to just look at car porn and see what cool things people were doing to their s2k's. Now i'm the proud owner of a Mugen edition S2K that i bought off a Honda employee that got it through the employee purchase program. He was so sad to see it go! But he had to move back to japan, to raise his new family member around family. That and s2k's arent exactly fit for 2 and a carseat . Its an AP2 and looks Sexy as hell. Being my dream car, and since I use the forums so much as is, I figured ide go ahead and go full member . See you all around on the forums when i'm not deployed

Oh and take a look at my sexy full member gallery for more mugen edition s2k pics

What is a "Mugen Edition"? I saw a few road tests in which Mugen had a modified car back in the day but I didn't know they actually built a special edition car.

Is the motor all stock? What's different from the standard S2K?

Very True. This car is not a "mugen edition" from honda. I was unaware that there were limited runs of cars, like the civic for example, that were actual mugen edition from the factory, like I am now aware . When I used the phrase, I was only trying to better articulate what the previous owner did when he ordered his car, which he had shipped to and upgraded by King Motorsports in wisconsin, while the car was still "virgin". His paperwork and receipts gave me a lot of confidence this thing was for real. Currently it has a stainless-steel header, an engine computer upgrade, a low-temp thermostat, a high-pressure radiator cap, and a carbon fiber ignition coil cover, where the engine is concerned. All of which is mugen!! He had the Mugen carbon fiber high performance air intake on it too, but sold it to a friend, before selling the car.. . I definitely plan on replacing that. It also has a set of mugen springs and shocks,a king motorsports bump-steer kit, and the mugen wheels you noticed. The only thing he really left me with a desire to do is get a better clutch kit. Ive decided to stay away from forced induction, but time will tell if that happens or not . I hope I cleared up the confusion, and answered your questions .

Very nice!! If the parts are from Kings then they are definitely legit. The Mugen header, intake, and ECU are supposed to work really well together. Nice s2k
