New from Northern Virginia
I've been a forum lurker for years, but I finally created a user and I wanted to say hello. I'm located in Fairfax, VA.
After well over five years of looking and hesitating, I finally bought an S2000 yesterday. It's a 2009 model with a chicane silver exterior and a black interior. The odometer had about 12,900 miles on it when I rolled out of the lot. It's covered in gunk from the long drive home (~5 hours) but I just had to post a picture anyway.

Welcome to the site and S2000 ownership. I bought my 2004 after seeing a listing at a Virginia Carmax last year. I paid the shipping charges to have it brought to Connecticut for the onsite check; bought it within the hour. I struggled myself deciding on what car to pick up for a summer driver for a few years, but after doing some research on the S2000, only about 3 months to find the one I have. You must be very deliberate! Enjoy the car!

For everyone else, do you ever attend or organize any meetups in the NOVA area? I used to belong to both the VW and 1addicts.com respective communities and it was always a great experience. Wouldn't mind meeting others who share the same passion for driving and cars.
