Default New owner of 2007 S2000 Berlina Black

Just purchased a 2007 S2000 in Berlina Black with 45,000 miles on it this past weekend. Ever since I drove my buddy's '01 a few years back, I never forgot how these cars felt. I had a Lotus Elise last year, but with the pros and cons I have going on in my mind, I'll end up liking the S2000 even more.

My S2K has an unknown short ram intake on it, which I plan on swapping out for a K&N system or something similar. I just want to know I have a more well-known part on my car. It is also missing the plug cover which I hope to find on here or a junk yard soon. And lastly, it has some Infinity speakers and an Alpine amplifier which was a nice discovery.

I will probably powder coat the wheels this winter a darker grey/pewter/gunmetal color. The clearcoat is failing on almost all of the wheels, and some have light curbing.

Other than that, it should remain relatively stock. My WRX is my money pit. But I ran out of things I want to do to that car, so who knows what's in store for the S2000.

On to some pictures...

Welcome! This is somewhat of a controversial topic but I would be wary about having the wheels powder coated. I've seen a few sets of them crack, even OEM wheels. If you insist on going that route, just be sure that they are prepped using a less-harsh media.

Will do. I have seen controversial threads about this same thing for some Subaru wheels.

Thanks for replying to my thread with reference to that link. All of those checklist items are the main reason I sign up on forums like this. I have items ordered for a transmission and differential fluid change and an air cabin filter change this weekend.
