I've been wanting an S2000 as a summer toy for a few years now and I finally purchased one. I ended up purchasing a 2005 NFR. Rio Yellow was actually my first choice for color but I ended up getting a great deal on my NFR and couldn't pass it up. I don't have the car yet as it's located in Chicago and I am in New Brunswick, Canada. I'll be flying to Chicago and driving it back and am looking very forward to it. My daily driver is a 2007 G35 Sedan (I'm an Admin over on G35Driver as well).

Anyways, just wanted to say hi and that I'm excited to be part of the S2k community!

Of course I could of purchased one locally here in Canada......but the cost differentiation is way too much to ignore. I saved a minimum of $12k by purchasing one in the US. You say it's a longass drive, I say it's a fantastic road trip with a new car!!

Thanks for the welcome, however I don't have the vehicle and haven't made the roadtrip yet. The money was sent to the dealer in Chicago on Friday, I just have to wait for all the necessary paperwork to be completed for customs then my wife and I will fly down to pick it up. I just purchased it on Friday and the wait has been difficult already.
