Wow that's the color I wish mine was! I'm already getting stressed out thinking about maintaining this Berlina black! You located on Oahu?

Yes apparently so I wonder if the supposed #84 Berlina black 2009 is true? I ended up debadging the side emblems and am left with the dreaded "shadowing" effect. Hopefully it'll buff out!

Hey Makima808,

What made you change from an M3 to a S2 if you don't mind me asking and how does the 2 differ?

Im not really too sure to be honest. It was always a dream to have an e92 M3 as its the only one with the 4L v8. Once I got it, I build it exactly how I wanted it so I guess you could say I satisfied that goal of mine. Here's a quick shot of how it turned out.

Sadly I only owned it for just over a year, but another car on my bucket list has always been a s2000 as well and came across this one so I found it a worthy successor and decided it'll be my next project.

In all honest, when I test drove the s2000, I had to double check if I was stepping on the gas pedal. Of course there's a huge power difference as well as weight difference but to me the s2000 feels so much more lively and more like a go-kart.

You could definitely feel the weight and size of the m3 in corners but your full immersed in the m3 with the gorgeous sounds of the n/a high revving v8. So they do share similiaries such as the high revving motors which I'm addicted to.

All in all, I love the s2000 and I've only had it for two days. Can't wait for many more to come!

Welcome and congrats on your purchase.

As for the car having such low mileage ... I take it that being in Hawaii has a lot to do with it. I mean how much driving can you do on the islands before you run out of real estate?

Very true! But the strange thing is the car was originally a Mainland car, I believe it came from California if I'm not mistaken. Military owner got stationed in Hawaii and brought it with him

Im from Maui. Black is hard to maintain, but always looks good when clean.
