New Owner Introduction
Hello all. I just wanted to formally introduce myself
. My name is John and I finally purchased my "attainable" dream car last Thursday. I am the very proud owner of a MY2001 Grand Prix White S2K with red/black interior. She is beautiful and is everything I expected and more. She has 11K miles on her and is bone stock.
I've replaced the tires with Michelin Pilot Sports for now because my wife is driving her for a couple of months as a daily driver and will put the S02s back on when it becomes the weekend car. I replaced the stock filter with a K&N and thats about it for now. I really want to drive the car the way it was built before I got sucked back into modding.
Last night the passenger HID went out-so I'm trying to deal with that. I was quoted around 250 to replace the bulb and was told the ballast or ignitor was 300 plus.
Anyway, I love this car and all its noises and quirks. This website is awesome with such a wealth of information. I know it will be a good resource and supliment to owning an S and I hope to be able to contribute to it as well.

Hello
About the tires : what sizes do you use?
Here in The Netherlands the Pilot Sport are not available in the OEM sizes (205/55/16 and 225/50/16) but they are in Pilot Premacy = the one I use.
Maybe Michelin has a different range in the US.
