Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself to all of you on S2KI. Picked up my s2000 last year and have been collecting parts over the winter. I'll make a journal/build thread sooner or later but this will suffice for now lol. If you're from MN and see me around, come and say hi! Feel free to visit my Instagram for more pics of the S and the daily. IG: kevsojdm
Welcome, and good luck finding enough droptop weather to enjoy it!
LOL that is not an issue in the summer here. From May through Sept it is beautiful here ..and I typically am still driving it top down through a big part of Oct. It is not the arctic circle some think it is ... even though it feels like it Dec - Feb ... and even though we did have 16 inches of snow in April this year!
Welcome to the S2000 world! I live in the NW suburbs. If you see a yellow one around the cities with stickers from SCCA solo nats all over it, that is mine! I tend to take some of the event sponsor stickers off between spring nats and nats, but get lazy and end up driving around with them on the car all summer sometimes.
And FYI, big car show weekend here this weekend. Cars n Coffee at Canterbury Sat, Huge mopar show at Farmington fairground all weekend, Shelby show on Sunday at Apple Valley Ford and a pretty good VW show at Westside VW. Should be nice and not raining Sunday so we may be out in the S checking some of the cars out.
And if you like the autocross type of thing, let me know and I can get you plenty of info on our local club and upcoming events!
Otherwise, enjoy the nice weather in your roadster
