Hey guys, when I say new photographer I don't mean I just went out and purchased my first DSLR, but more that I am new to S2KI!!! I have heard nothing but awesome things about this community and I can not wait to contribute to it with some of my content. Any time I shoot a feature on an S2000 I will surely make sure you guys have some viewing on it :-)

I am currently just about done building my 350whp 99 EK Hatch which should be out in about a month and daily an RSX, but if I had the opportunity to pick up an S2 for a good price I would!

welcome!, im saving up for my first DSLR myself. which one did you end up getting? also what setup on the ek?

 

As mentioned I am surely not "new" to the DSLR game and have gone through many models of bodies by now but I currently use a 5DMKII. I have owned in the past a Nikon D70, Nikon D90, Canon 5DMKI, Canon 7d, Canon 1DMKII, and now the 5DMKII. I have quite the kit of lenses (all l series glass) that I have accumulated over the years.

As for the EK it's a fully built (top to bottom, forged everything) B16, full 3" Vband exhaust, brand new Garret GT2871r setup, Skunk2 Pro1 cams, Full crower valve train, 75mm tb,being tuned on AEM V2 EMS etc etc. Should make some good jam, I'll let you guys know.
