New from Portland, OR
Hi-
New member here, been lurking as guest for a little while.
Just purchased a used 2002 S2000 Suzuka Blue/Blue with about 21,500 miles. Exterior/Interior are in perfect condition. Had it checked out with Forged Performance in Troutdale, OR and it came back with an immaculate, clean bill of health.
This will be a secondary fun/project car to my daily commuter. As I'm quickly realizing, I need to re-learn how to drive RWD (past 8 cars have been either FWD or AWD).
Initial things I plan on doing:
* A couple good coats of wax
* New 17" wheels, have not decided on what just yet. May also go wider.
* New tires, looking at Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 or the Continental ExtremeContact DW. I haven't decided on going with a square setup or not yet.
* Probably an Eibach front sway bar.
* Various track/driving classes for both safety and fun.
We'll see from there, as my budget allows.

LOL. I too purchased a Suzaka blue 2002 about 4 months ago to drive as a weekend
car. I was driving a new 2011 Cadillac CTS coupe, 308 bph not the V. Once I started
driving the SK2 driving the Caddy became so boring I found myself leaving it in the
garage more and more. Finally, I said this is stupid and sold it. I now drive the
Honda daily and yes I am putting more milage on it than I'd care to but, I love driving
it so its worth it. Presumably if I take super good care of it which, I definitely do,
it should last many years. Good luck with yours. Also, I am thinking of moving to Portland
when I retire late next year. I am visiting in July.
