Thanks for the great forum. Kudos to "DammitJim" for his compact word-tour,
what to look for/how to test when shopping. It's a great mix of make-specific
and general checklist, the what-to-do, when buying:

It's so easy to skip a step, when the gotta-have-it juices start to run!

Maybe I'll meet some of you at the second-thursday April gather at Stefanina's.

By then I hope to have abused the good nature of at least one local used-car rep,
to find out if I'm even rationally a good keeper of the mark.
