Default New to the rear wheel drive Honda

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is jeremy and i'm about to buy an 02 S2000. I've been around hondas since i was about 13 so i'm no noob to the honda world. I guess i just got tired of wasting power with spinning all the time in a front wheel drive so now i'm going to try a rear wheel drive honda. I have no idea what to expect. I get my car in about 2 weeks. Its berlina black/black interior, OEM hardtop,ARC1 dual exhaust, AEM Cold air intake and OEM lip. I'll get some pics up as soon as i pick it up

Welcome Jeremy!

I'd recommend you get out to a local autox to learn the difference in the way RWD handles compared to FWD. HINT: Don't drop the throttle mid-turn to tighten in on the apex.

Seriously, the s2k is not forgiving of mistakes. And it is easy to spin if you try driving it like an FWD car.

if he lets the throttle go, he'll be in for some EPIC UNWANTED DRIFT! MANG! or rather epic oversteer. Don't let them scare you, if you're just driving in the city, you'll very very unlikely oversteer.

thanks for all the pointers. i'm not really into the autoX thing, more of a straight line fanatic. Love to go fast from point A to point B. Plans are to turbo charge the car with a good EMS system,Full Race kit,R200 rear diff setup, and healthy set of rubber in the rear.

Na always been in high horsepower hondas. No domestics here! unless its pulling my honda to the track. i recently built a K20 swapped crx then sold everything to go with the AP1 so thats the route i'm going with. should be something new and exciting. we shall see for sure
