Default New to the RWD world

Hey guys,

Just introducing myself to the family! I recently moved to the states from Brazil and had one of my life goals achieved… or several of them actually: First Honda Vtec, First RWD car and to own a S2000.

Coming from a country where 99% of the cars are FWD it took some time getting used to the S2K happy tail but after a month I can say I couldn't be happier with my car choice. I did some research and managed to find a good stock S2000 here in Houston -TX for sale and the rest is just… pure fun!

Here is my 2005 Berlina Black AP2 w 51kmiles on the clock

Welcome! It looks so fresh and clean! I hope that is your garage in the background. If not, you may want to read up on Keeping Your S2000 Safe at Night. Theft used to be a big problem in the Houston area; not sure if that's still the case.

Very nice and enjoy the S. One thing learn the car, totally different from what you have driven.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome! And yes it is my garage in the background, so the car is always safe and sound! I think where I live is pretty safe still (inside the loop, rice military) but thanks for the tip!!

Regarding the looks, props to my very first upgrade. The next day I bought the car I took it to Excessive Detailing here in Houston to have a full paint correction and then aplying a full coat of Ceramic Pro 9H all around. Best investment ever… lifetime warranty, easy to wash and forever mirror-looking

Thanks! That was very helpful… specially regarding the alignment since my car is shaking quite a lot at higher speeds (80/90mph)
