Hey all, I am new to The S2000 and new to Honda. I have a 1974 MGB and wanted something with a little more power and reliability.
Had the car only a week now, I went to check the oil and the filler cap says to use 10w-30. I am sure the previous owner told me he used 5W-20 synthetic.
I know my MGB uses ONLY 20w-50. Now am I wrong to keep the 5w-20 in her?

As far as the oil, synthetic, yes, different weight (non 10W30) why?

Honda knows what is best for that engine.

I live in Manitoba and run 5W-30 Amsoil Signature Series.

 

I love the old B.... had an orange one... was a great sports car to thrash around.... I feel your going to love the S2000....

factory calls for 10-30w synt.....
