Default new S2000 CR

I just purchased a 2008 Rio Yellow s2000 CR brand new car smell amazing car i love the s2000. I am eventually looking to mod this baby up and looking were to start. I have been doing some research and a lot of parts take power away. But I am looking to eventually turbo by summer 2010 So let me know where to start what to do to make this baby rip everything else out there.

Track it (always the best mod) and figure out where you feel it needs improvement.

I strongly agree... The S2000 should already be able to smoke Porsches, Lotuses, Ferraris, Z06s, etc on the track only if you're a better driver

Street racing or drag racing is not what the S2000 was designed for. But I guess you can still do it since it's got decent speed in a straight line.

If you are looking for ultimate straight line performance, then the turbo, as you mentioned, is a great start. I've seen several 700 hp S2Ks with the stock engine.

Just don't forget that weight reduction is free horsepower. 100 pounds or weight reduction equals about 10 horsepower. It's possible to get our cars down to 2300 pounds with lots of money and stripping it down to the bare essentials, but I doubt most people are that hardcore lol

thanks guys, i have been finding out a lot about these cars and starting to really smile. I like what they have out for this car. I also have a GC SRT8 that is a blast and fast in a drag or straight line but the S2 will do the work at the drift and windy roads thats for sure
