New S2000 Owner - Aiken, SC
Hi All,
I picked up a 2002 Sebring Silver S2000 a couple of weeks ago, and I'm just getting around to making an introduction. I found the car with it's original owner in Virginia. It had 9,064 miles on the odometer when I bought it. Yep, you read that right. He still had the original window sticker and all the original purchase records.
The car was having some trouble recognizing the keys, so I had to have the immobilizer ring replaced. I also aded a set of Michelin Pilot A/S 3s (it still had the original 14 year-old tires!), and I've changed all the fluids.
I've owned several roadsters in the past (Miatas and Boxsters), but the S2000 is heaven to me. It's the sweet spot between those two and is wholly unlike anything else I've driven. What a great car! My only dilemma now is I want to keep the mileage low, but it's the only car I want to drive. Ugh...

Congrats on the excellent find! As for future mileage...look at it this way....for the next 6 years you can average 8000 miles a year and then have a 20 year old car with less than 60000 miles, or an average of less than 3000 miles a year!
