Default New S2000 owner SilverStone on Black 2003

Hi all,

I'm the former owner of www.purehonda.com a great site till I sold it in 2001. I've been driving a 2000 Accord since my head on accident in a JDM 93 Teg. After therapy on my left foot esp ankle I'm able to drive manual again. Driving by the dealership I saw this beauty of an s2000 at 2003 will less than 10,000m. I did a lot of background check on it. Found out it had one accident and coincidentally the bodyrepair shop that did the work was also a friend of mine. Who told me it was only the right door a minor hit and they told the owner that they could repair the door however the guy replaced the door.

Also check the dealer so happens my cousin works there so he gave me info on the log as per servicing etc. All in all it's a steal of a deal. Comes with 18x8 and 18x8 rims huh!!! However, the stock rim are included.

I get the on Friday and it seems like forever! In the mean time I've been searching forums etc. My 1st mod will be to sell those non-stagger 18 rims and get som 17x7x5F and 17.8.5R wheels and with tires.

Look forward to LEARNING here. So my 1st two questions:

1) As a new owner what are the must read threads at the forum. Esp since I've new to RR driving.

2) I'm 6'3" it's a little tight in there any other tall owners out there? Any tips on room? haha

Thanks,

Hayden

P.S. i'll post pics soon.

Welcome

1)the AP1's seem to gobble up a lot of oil..check it regularly.check under the hood section.

2)if you search around they have some seat mods to lower it a bit.

peace

Thanks for the friendly welcome all! My 1st mod is going to be the lower seat rail:
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/int...t%5Frails/side/

In hopes the is lowers the stock seat enough that my legs have an improvement in room

Not sure if anyone can give feedback on this. My s200 is JDM right hand drive. I'm being told that most turbo kits made for the US s2k's wont work with my s2000 without fabrication. Is this true?

Welcome, Hayden.

Be sure to check out the Introduction forum FAQ thread, which should answer a lot of your questions. The S2000 Talk forum has a good FAQ as well.
