What's up everybody? I just recently sold my 2001 Corvette Z06. I replaced it with a Red 2006 S2k with only 21k miles. She is bone stock.

Welcome. Got me beat (somewhat). I just bought a 2007 in mid-January with 40K on it. Then I drove it to Maryland in two days at hyper-Turbo speeds so now it has 42K!!
I looked at a bunch of cars in SoCal (step son lives near Pasadena) for 3 weeks in Dec but bought mine in Texas.
If some dork in a rental sled waves to you one day, it is me out there on vacation!

Today I replaced the oil with Mobil 1. I also replaced the spark plugs. The car only has 21k miles. But, just doing that service really woke up the car. I still need to replace the air filter. But, I'm deciding if I want an intake or just get a k&n replacement filter.

Welcome and congrats on a great find.

Two things: 1. gotta see some pics

2. How would you compare the two in driving dynamics, etc.?

Obviously my Vette was much faster. It had 382whp and 379wtq. Weighed 3100lbs. With the Vettes minor suspension/Tires setup it would just grip going around corners.
But, The interior was cheap. The S2k has much better interior and build quality. I didn't buy the S2k to go fast in a straight line. I mainly bought it because it's a fun car to drive. I can go WOT in the S2k and have a blast without breaking the speed limit to much.

Medrifast - Load your pics onto a photo web share like Fotki. There are many but that's the one I use. Each photo you download to their site will receive a URL address. You will copy that address into a window here on this site when you open a post.

When you open a new post on S2KI click on the symbol above ( the second one to the right of the smile avatar. Looks like a square picture frame).
That's called "insert image".

There you can paste the URL address of your photos from Fotki, for example. Try it a few times. You may have to keep at it till it finally works. It took me some time to be successful. I'm only half literate when it comes to computers !

So, copy the URL of your photo from whatever site you choose to store your pics, then paste that into the box "Image URL"

Good luck. Look forward to seeing your S2000 !
