Hello, My name is Luciano. I recently purchased an 02' silver s2k with 204k on the dash. I have since replaced the lower radiator hose (pissed coolant), timing chain (yes chain -it snapped) adjusted valves, tct, rebuilt trans besides imput shaft. And master/slave cylinder. Obviously oil change, probably forgetting a few things. But yea, chain snapped 3 weeks in. Clutch spring gave on the 100 mile drive home. Its a horror story so far but it rips.

Had a few beamers and benzs. I dont consider the s2000 a downgrade at all. Has the pure driving experience bmw attempts to provide, w the luxuries i need. Im a simple guy, when i like to drive, i like to drive.

If i want to give a **** about a quiet cabin and heated seats, i have the jetta.

Overall, i think this car is very sketch while getting back into drifting compared to a miata. I think its not a novice friendly car for sure. Going fast and all those activities im very well versed. But when trying to get back into sending a rwd, ill opt out on using the s2k. AlredY BECAME close friends w a neighborhood curb.

Plans to track this car, hopefully wont total. I worked my ass off and saved for a year. Payed $6750. GOOD DEAL? no rust pretty much, clean title. Prolly was in accident, several fenders replaced/painted.
