New To S2000. Question!
Well I went down there to take a look at it. It was actually at an another dealership 4 miles away.(same owner different place) It was getting the front bumper repainted. Supposedly the front bumper had a small hole cut from the previous owner. It also had a rock chip on the top passenger side windshield. Other than from those 2 problems. The car was perfect.
I wanted to get the car right then and there. But I had to go to work. So on the way back home I stopped by my credit union. To see what my payments would be. Well it turns out that I have the credit but there is a bad side to it. I have too much revolving credit. So in return I need a co signer. They suggested that I down my credit cards first before I get a car.
If I were to get the loan anyways, my payments would be around 380 a month.

I'm going back and forth on this right now. Part of me says no the other says get it! Tomorrow is a deciding factor for me. It's my day off and I'm going to test drive it.
If I were to get it, how much is it to replace the windshield.

Are you sure you don't want to look for a private seller? It's typically a few thousand less than dealers and if this economy affects dealers it also effects private sellers.
For example this is not an AP2 but looks like a good value:

I'm pretty sure I want to go through a dealership just cause of the finance part. I asked all my co-workers and majority of them said to get it. Even with my financial sitsuation. Part of me is saying to get it over with and just buy it already. Another part is saying I should just hold off on it and continue paying off my debt. Sigh.... The S is just within my grasp.....
this is the reason we're in a credit crisis. $1k to put down on a $19k loan? How about picking it up in cash?? or instead, saving up like 15k and paying the rest with a loan?? Good luck with the car bro! enjoy it if you do get it!
So true. Truth is, I don't have $15K in cash, nor do I have the cash to pay it in full. i wish I did, but I just can't resist!! Its true life is short, you only live through it once! Maybe I should just say fuk it and get it. hmmmmm......
