Hi all, new proud owner of an s2k. I had an 08 black with red/aluminum trim BMW z4 which I LOVED...but sadly the lease was up and I wasn't going to have a bimmer out of warranty. A friend of mine had an s2k and peaked my interest when he mentioned they came in much the same color scheme. I searched and searched and couldn't find one that met all my criteria until low and behold I found her. This is no BMW z4...it's one mean and down&dirty sportscar...and I love it. I am just a chick new to the car scene who is surrounded by people who build sports cars, and this thing has lots of fun goodies. Looking forward to learning all things s2k from this site....

Thanks! I looked at others and as soon as the pic of this car came across my email I thought...sold! Everything that is on this car was that way that I bought it. Softtop is still attached but I enjoy the hartop look for sure. Suspension..and forgive me as like I said I'm new to all this which I'm sure makes some of the more knowledgeable people cringe ...I believe its lowered on skunk 2s.

 

Welcome to the boards. You bought yourself a really nice s2k. I'm really liking the tasteful upgrades. Hope you either leave it just as beautiful as it is or you find ways to make it look even more beautiful.

Nice upgrade from the Bimmer! z4's are nice, but with time, you will enjoy the s2k more. Looks better anyway.
