Well, I finally found an S2000. About 5 years ago I bought a guitar from this old guy. He saw my MKVI Golf R and said "you a car guy?" I said "yes..."

He opened his garage and showed me his prized possession... A 2003 Suzuka Blue S2000 in pretty much mint condition with 40k miles. I said "wanna sell that too?" He said no. Bummer, because I would have got it for 1/2 what I paid!

Well, last week I was cleaning up my contacts and saw his in there. Every time we drove by his place I'd dream about the S2000 in there. I sent him a text out of the blue and he said he was thinking of selling... what timing! He also said a local dealership wanted to buy it.

I finally go there yesterday to check it out. His wife had marked up the rear bumper a little (just cosmetic) but otherwise still in great shape with a little over 40k miles. Took it for a drive, asked what he wanted and made a deal. Going to pick it up later this morning.

So now I just need an NSX, right? haha..

Stable includes NA Miata, 06 911, 13 Camaro ZL1 Convertible, Kia Stinger GT2, Tundra Crewmax and now this 2003 S2000. I may sell the Miata. The prices are going up on those now too. I told a good friend I would sell it to him for a deal. Then he told another one of his friends who collects cars and was looking for an NA miata and told him the price. I scolded him because I could have gotten a lot more... he's kinda dumb. haha..
