New S2K Owner
Hello All! I guess I will just grab my post from HT:
Well, I finally took the plunge and traded in my base RSX for something a little bit faster . I bought this car in Clearwater, Florida and so far, no regrets. The sale price for the 2003 S2K was $19.5K (which includes a 45k bumper to bumper warranty and GAP insurance) after trade (I also owed 9k on the RSX, got 10k for the car). The car came with the T1R exhaust and a Skunk2 shift knob

The RSX was not in perfect condition. The previous owner was a smoker so there was a tiny hole in the driver seat, the headliner was a pale yellow after I scrubbed it, and the exterior had many blemishes (no dents). The thing I will miss is that car has an 11 gallon tank (in that area) and I could sometimes squeeze 340 miles on one tank
Congrats! You got the best year, don't let anyone tell you different. lol. Since you're in Clearwater, check out the Florida forum for some local meets. Looks mint too. I've squeezed about 11 gallons into the S before but it doesn't laqst that long. I used to get 400+ miles out of a tank in my MINI, but it had a 14 gallon tank. Most of the time, I pull 240 out of a tank in the S2k. Its no economic car, its a sports car.
