Hey fellas, new to the boards here. I just picked up an 04 Suzuka Blue S2k, and I have to say its the most fun I've ever had driving a car. It may not be outrageously fast, however at first drive its easy to understand why its so appealing. V-tec made me smile from ear to ear and my palms sweat! I had an 03 WRX with some BPU's and boost was sweet, but now I'm addicted. I really love not having turbo lag, if anyone has driven a WRX you know what I'm talking about.

I'm looking for some feedback. Anything glaring about an S2K that should be brought to my attention. I understand thats kind of a vague question, however there's just too much stuff to read on the forums and unfortunately I don't have enough time.

 

I almost forgot. It seems i have a baby grind, or what just feels like some serious notchiness on occasion from 1st to 2nd, almost every time 2nd to 3rd, and occasionally from 4th to 5th. Could this just be from tranny abuse from the previous owner? This is only prominent on normal driving as opposed to spirited where there isn't an issue at all. Can this just be fixed with synchromesh?
