Default New S2K owner here (MA)

Good evening, just picked up an ‘01 in Silverstone today from a friend. Really been enjoying researching/learning from y’all.

Already detailed the inside today (took seats out) and replaced the cabin air filter. Looking forward to discovering more projects on here.

Nice car. I've got the 03 version of your car. Enjoy!
Man, looks like that filter needed changing!

Looks nice. Did you find anything interesting when you had the seats out?

Thanks. Two water bottles, a coffee tumbler, and a whole bunch of dog hair.

Things I’ve done so far:

Exterior wash and wax (and conv top treatment)
Interior detail, leather conditioning
Fixed dome/vanity lights by clearing corrosion on connections
Reset auto window, now goes down with top
Reattached loose 12V socket from inside
Replaced cabin air filter
Replaced serpentine belt
Fixed rattle in passenger door
—-
Oil change (done by mechanic)

It would probably be a good time to change the trans, rear end, clutch and brake fluids so you can reset the clock on all of it. It's easy maintenance and you'll feel good about having done it all.
