New S2K Owner in Orange County, CA
Hey Everyone,
My name is Tyler and I recently moved to Orange County, CA for a new job. I come from the cold state of Michigan, where a convertible can be driven about 3 months out of the year if your lucky, and rust will ruin your car in no time flat. Since I now live in sunny southern California, I figured it would be the perfect time to pick up a new daily! I did my research and waited until I found the perfect S2000 (for me). I am happy to report that I picked up a very clean, all stock, berlina black AP1 with only 47k miles on it! I've only had the car for a week, but I am loving it, and cannot wait to start modding it.
As of right now, the only modification I have done is a new head unit so I can play music from my phone. Though I do plan on doing some more mods in the near future, keeping it very functional, since it is my daily driver. I joined the forum so I could hopefully meet some other S2K owners near me, and get advice from all you experienced owners as well. I've worked in the aftermarket auto industry since graduating from college, and am no stranger to turning a wrench. But I am a total newbie when it comes to this chassis, so I'm hoping to learn a lot on this website.
If anyone is from the area and wants to meet up, go for a cruise, drive to an awesome road that I don't know about since I'm new here, etc. Please speak up!

Welcome to the forum and your new home in So Cal. What a great find! You are going to enjoy many miles of top down driving year round.
