Default New to S2ki

Just got a 2007 white s2k. pics coming soon located in dsm iowa. previous car was an 07 civic si. had a pretty much fully built spec V with nitrous. my background: autocross and been down the drag strip probably 60+ times. now only hit the track on my motorcycle. kind of got out of the car scene for a while and didnt mod my si very much. thinking i might try the new car out for autocross again though.

been lurking for a little bit searching the forums.

total noob when it comes to this car. searched alot but havent come up with any definete answers.

i have a few noob questions?

i saw a thread about wiring for pre 04 s2k's to hook up an ipod or mp3 player but what about an 07? is there anything i can do to hook it up? Also looking for a head unit that has a fold out screen that will fit under the stock cover?

in regards to intakes. i like the comptech but is it available for an 07? i want an intake that i wont have to alter the hood. want mainly for sound. also looked at the prm. does it matter what year the s2k is? i thought it really hasnt changed much engine wise?

enjoying my time on the forum

thanks everybody

Looks clean. If you go to the Crutchfield site, It'll show which fold out in-dash player will fit in the S. I wouldn't recommend the ipod connection. For the amount you spend on the ipod connector, you can almost buy a head unit that will support the ipod.(stock speakers aren't so good anyway) As far as intakes, I would go with the K&N air charger intake.(most power for the money) Enjoy your GPW S!
