Talking New Suzuka Owner SLC UTAH!

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mike and I am the proud owner of a 05' Suzuka Blue S2k with 21k miles on it! Barely broken in.

My previous car was an e46 M3 which was just not worth the amount of problems the car was giving me. Parts on the M cars are ridiculously expensive and I just couldn't justify it anymore.

I must say, coming from an e46 M3...the S2k is well....REFRESHING. I have so much more fun in this car than I did in my M. The honda is much more nimble...I can't wait to AutoX in this thing. Sure, it doesn't have the straight line power my M3 did, but what it lacks in power it gains back in handling prowess!!

Anyway, I am eager to become a helping hand in this community. I

Welcome Mike. Sorry to hear the problems with the m3...cause if I got a BMW, that's the only one I would get...And I could only imagine the price of parts. I see more of our color popping up! I like it!!

Congrats and good luck in your future FI plans!!

Welcome!

I too also moved back into the S after owning a couple M3's.

What part of Utah are you from? I lived in Layton before I moved to the Atlanta area a couple years ago!

Hey there,
I'm from South Jordan. The M3 was a great car.... However, I had sooo many issues with it. I think I spent over 16k in just 7 months just to drive it and maintain it. I can't say i'd ever buy another BMW again. Well, I guess I would if I could afford servicing the damn thing......

Best Model / Year? Is that so? Isn't it the exact same as 04? Is the 06+ not as good because of the DBW? Well, sounds pretty good to me! I love this car! The more I drive it the happier I am. I can't wait to drive it to work again tomorrow morning. ahhhhhH
