Default New and will be buying within the next 2 months...

Well, the wife and I have decided on an S and will be purchasing within the next month or so. Just can't decide on which color; AP1 or AP2 isn't as much of a deal breaker as color combo right now it's quite frustrating. Living in SoCal options are more than other areas of the country but still having a hard time finding a nice GPW, and the Berlina w/red interior are hard to find!!!. Price range is limiting it a bit too but not too bad; we've got a budget of about 17k. I'm looking forward to RWD drive again coming from my A4 which I just sold in August. Well, once we find it I'm looking forward to many years of modding and spirited driving! Great forum here!

Welcome, I am new myself just picked up MY05 s2k, don't be fooled by the paper specs of the car, especially the torque #'s. Still getting used to the car, wanted to see how much it would let me get away with.. almost ended up inside a tree, awesome car can't wait to get my coils/exhaust

Thanks for the link; I've been searching for a secret for sale website for S2000's or something cause I just can't seem to find the right one LOL. I won't be home from deployment till mid-December; but the wife is all about test driving and everything if we find the perfect one. I've been looking pretty hard for a solid month or so...

Good luck in your search. I'm sure you won't have any problems finding a clean S with your budget. You'll definitely have fun going to rwd, especially in one of the best handling cars ever made.

Ok so is it just me or is the price of S2000's going up? I've been looking HARD for the last two months or so. I've read through this thread more than once and am still wondering where some of you found these rediculous deals at???

I guess when you're picky about the color combo it doesn't help but i'm willing to get the interior done the way I want if I find the right car. BB/Red interior, GPW/red interior, or even the right silverstone with red is fine! 04-05 30-40k for 15-16k unmolested...is that to much to ask or is there a secret squirrel dealership out there you guys go to?

It took about 5 months for me to find the right one. I was more picky about the condition than color combo. The problem is that buying a used sports car, one that is in well kept condition will be hard to come by. Add to the fact that now AP1s are now cheaper, the younger kids will be buying those and then slamming the crap out of it. Just be patient and be thorough in checking the background of your car.
