New Yellow AP1 Owner, Sayin' Hi
Hey everybody!
I just bought a partially prepped for SCCA STR class yellow AP1 S2000. I'd driven a couple of them at different events and decided I loved the way it turned so much I had to have one. It's also my first convertible. Though I prefer coupes, it was funny to drive around on the freeway with the top down in the cold with the heater blasting.
I already bought my first mod for it, some Recaro SPGs, but they have AP2 rails on them. So now I have to try and sell the rails so I can get some AP1 rails.
I'll probably be hanging out in the motorsports subsection(s) the most.

Cool, welcome! When you say a partially-prepped STR class car, what has been done to it so far? Also, have you checked out the Racing & Competition forum? There are some egos there, but a lot of good experience!

Welcome! Congrats on choosing the fastest color!
That heater's pretty amazing, isn't it?

Camber Joints, springs/dampers (Tein, yuck), AEM FIPK, Turn down after the cat, few sets of wheels, piggy back dohicky that lowers VTEC engagement. It also came with the revised OS Giken rear diff, which I'm thinking about buying a used rear end to stuff into in case it blows up.
