Default The newest owner of 2005 GPW s2000

Hey everyone.
I just bought 2005 s2k with 3276kms. after my test drive and I have to tell you the car is awsome. It's white I belive GPW with black and red interior. I was looking at 2002 with only 3600 kms. on it and when I decided to go and check it out it got sold. My wife was telling me that there is something better for me just have to wait. Yesterday I was passing the honda dealership and I notice white one on the parking lot so I wanted to check it. It was a raining day and the GPW was out side but they have silverstone 06 in a showroom so I just hoop in and was so disappointed with limited space for me. I'm 6'4 280 pounds. Didn't even ask about 2005 sitting out side. Afternoon I picked up my wife from work and wanted to show her s2k for the first time. She felt in love and then I decided that I will sacrifice a comfort just to have my dream come thru. I asked the sales man about the white one ( that was my favorite color combo ever) and he told me they have a deposit on it so technically it's sold. My wife couldn't belive I didn't ask about it in the morning or put a deposit on it and we were praying all night that it will be avail. Today morning we decided to give them a deposit so we will be next in line so we went there and they told as it's avail. so the rest is history, I will be picking my baby on tuesday, I got 7 years or 130kms. warranty with the deal so I love it. I think that I will not be making more then 10000kms. per year so its a nice peace of mind and resale value in the future
This site is perfect, lots of info, keep up a good work people
thanks
Sorry guys no pics yet, first I have to learn how to post them , any way I just can't wait till tuesday

Welcome aboard S2Kready! If the color speaks to you, then you did the right thing!!!!

Take it easy as you get used to the car. If you're up north in the cold, beware the cold tires in winter... Very slippery (they get hard).

enjoy!

Thanks
Winter here is pretty harsh and I will not drive the car in winter It's my TOY car and I'm planning to keep it stock as possible ( maybe only intake later on).
Bad weather outside is a NO NO to my toy. BTW I picked it up yesterday evening and drove it home like 10kms . Everything was fine but the only thing that I had to take it easy was the shifting, didn't want to grind any gears cause the car was sitting on the parking lot in dealer's place and it was a little cold outside. After good warm up and few kms. it was getting better and better.

I'm looking for a Mobile 1 75-90 gear oil for my differential now and maybe a synchromesh later on just to keep it running at its best.

Thanks for any advice and you play nice now
