Default No S2000 yet, but one can dream, right?

Hey everyone!

My name's AnnoyingOrange ... and no, not like the orange that goes nananana but like my present car, a '98 orange Miata.
I've put it up for sale on the internet and multiple forums... next day I wanted to go to town, turned the key and ggggrrrrrrr there goes the engine. A bearing broke and now it's at the garage for a new engine. So... I was thinking, if it's got a new engine I should just keep it cos I'm never gonna sell the car for what I've put into it... and this S2000 owner replies my e-mail asking information regarding my miata... "I might be able to do something with it". So, I've got a small hope he's wanting to trade cars as he's getting older and I want something different... one can dream, right?

So yeah, 28 years old from The Netherlands, currently owning a '98 orange Miata 1.8 Supercharged. It's seen quite a bit of this part of the world (minefields, offroad, etc)

Hoping... really really hard... that this guy is going to e-mail me back answering my question "What do you think you can do with it?". It'd ooze the pain of getting the new engine.

So what do you guys think... am I going to like the S2000 more than the miata? I haven't had a ride in an S2000 yet so I can't judge!

Best regards,

AO

I've been lurking these forums for a few days (at work... boredom struck and gave me time to look into things) and I've been reading how you guys loved your S2000 and the things you've experienced with it. I think it'd make a great follow-up on my current roadster and I just love the dash layout... completely driver-aimed.

I hope I can show you photos of the S2000 I may call "Mine" soon!

Damn you... you're only making me more curious!

Right now I still have a week of waiting until my MX-5 returns. 1 day after I had put it up for sale one of the bearings blew and it needed an engine replacement. I hope I can still sell it when I get it back, and save up for an S2000.

Looks like you're a hardtop guy... get ready to pay $3.5-4k for a good condition OEM Honda hard top for you future S lol...

You will enjoy the roadster style more of the S, probably
