Hey everyone, I am Adam. Recently had my turbo 96 civic stolen. Waiting to get paid out so that I can buy a new car. I've pretty much decided it's going to be an AP2 S2k. All I need now is for the theives to ditch the chassis so I can get my check. I am a serious honda enthusiast, and wouldnt drive anything that isnt made by honda. I do honda tuning on this side, though I havent had much business since moving down to O-town last summer.

If your previous car was stolen I'd be awful worried about the S2K. Hopefully it doesn't get gutted.

 

just thinking about it but you had full coverage on a 14 year old car that's worth about $3k? are you getting reimbursed for all the aftermarket goodies as well?

 

I didnt have full coverage --> I didnt have collision. But I did have comprehensive loss with $0 deductible =). I doubt I will get the car value plus the $3K in parts in/on that car.

I've read up on S2K's theft and stealing seats. I've plotted out how I will hedge against those, including threat of immobilizer defeat. Plus I'll have full insurance on this one

 

That stinks about your civic. Good luck with getting an s2000, its a good upgrade
