Selling my Modified 2004 MSM Miata. Gonna miss her. She was a great track car.

But alas I must move on. I always have had Honda's and wanted an "S" but the Miata wondered into my life and it was a great ride.

I plan on getting my "S" soon. My Miata will be gone by the end of this week. I have an AutoX on Sunday, but I will not have a car..............bummer..............

My S will be called on to do everything that my Miata did. It will be my daily driver. I commute 100 miles a day of mostly FWY in So. Cal. Most of my drive is @ FWY speed (55 mph min). My Miata got 28 mpg, even with all of the mods. I tend to save my "aggressive" driving for the track where it belongs. Besides, I'm in my early 50's and I have had my share of tickets. I will also track my car. AutoX and HPDE.

What kind of MPG's am I looking at ?

What kind of mods for tracking ? Big Brakes ? I dont want to do mods that are NOT CARB LEGAL this time around. Been there, done that.

1st "mod" will be Ipod Aux Mod !!! Gotta have it for my long commute.

We are looking for AP2. Probably 2006 or newer. 30K max miles. Silver, GPW or maybe even the "Doyer" Blue. Gotta have black interior. None of the red stuff folks.

I'll let ya know how it turns out.

Regards,
pwcfan

Welcome Fan!!

If you keep below VTEC on your highway commute, you can average 28-30 with an AP2.

Just throw on some decent track pads and swap out the hydraulic fluid for Motul600 and you're set. Add some sticky rubber if you want to shave lap times.

For autox...what class do you want to run in?

If staying in stock class isn't important, the Hondata reflash is a great mod for an MY06+.
