I sold my 03 wrx which was a really fun car and just planned to buy an automatic car for my gf then i got some extra cash and decided to buy a s2000 too. I would like to ask if someone on the forum can help me look at the carfax of the car if it is not too much trouble. Now that i look back at how i bought the wrx, i feel really irresponsible but thankfully nothing wrong was with the car except for some details here and there that i would have love to hear it from the previous owner before selling it to me which is unlikely because it would probably back me out of the transaction, etc.... just saying. For example, he had a bov, catless exhaust and electronic bost controller(ebc), so when i went back home the engine light pops up and i was like 'oh...sh**' but it was just the o2 sensor because of the catless and a wastegate because i overboost (didnt know at the time) playing with the ebc and when i first went to a subie meet, people where like 'take out the bov first cuz is making your engine rich', etc. ohhhh and the tranny really suxs but it was subaru's fault. With all these problems, i loved my subie and will buy it again.....well, only the sti cuz of the tranny, but the sti are really expensive at the moment. All im trying to say is that im aware that im buying a used car and that it will not be perfect and that people will use it to pass the redline or pulls on the freeway, etc... i can live with some imperfection, i just dont want a lemon

Now for the s2k... I know about the soft cover and the crappy radio, any other things that i should ask or pay attention when test driving it? any engine light or things that easily tear and wear? any noise? things you dont like about the car? I am interested in one and the guy told me that when he bought it, the car was misfiring and have some leaking so he fixed the engine in a honda dealer and is now good. it has 88k miles and is an 03.... and is white which i like....

Sorry for my long intro, but im excited to finally have an s2k because i love the exterior style and the convertible and i hope it helps me calm down my turbo passion (sorry, dont really feel the hype of the vtec... civic si.... and i dont plan to turbo it.............................................yet )
