Enjoy the drive.

UMD, I got the joke. I was kidding, too. Thanks for the welcome. I'm happy to be here.

redru, if the problem was with the differential, they should have built a better one, instead of splitting the difference. As things stand, Honda decided that having us ruin our clutches is better than having us ruin our diffs. Hard to believe such an outstanding company couldn't come up with better solution than that.

I went to my dealer today and talked to the service manager. I told him I wanted to know about the clutch delay valve. He had no idea what I was taklking about. So much for service managers who know only how to sell parts & service.

I would like to know how and when the valve works. After I had completed my shift into 2nd, and had completely disengaged the clutch, I came on the throttle. That's when I noticed it. I wasn't "dumping the clutch" or anything like that.

Does the valve work in all gears? Can it be activated simply with lots of throttle? Or is it an anti-clutch-dump mechanism?

To all who noted it: I sent my membership check in today. (Jeez, you guys are like the union when it comes to dues. lol.)
