Picking up S2k Thursday
Hello sirs!
Just bought a used 2001 S2k with 80k/miles from the original owner. I'm picking it up tomorrow, just put the deposit down today (banks were closed). The seller is willing to come with me to a dealership to get it checked out for any major problems. He just had it checked out 4 months ago during an oil change. I'm wondering if I should just save the money ($250 or so) to skip the checkup and put it toward a major tuneup. The guy seemed pretty confident that everything was okay, so I don't think he's bluffing.
What do you guys think? Should I cover all my bases or am I being paranoid?
