Hi,
I'm new to this community, I don't own a s2000, but I am considering purchasing a new 2006 Rio Yellow Pearl one. Also near the top of my "list" is a RX-8. (I am a big rotary enthusiast; anybody else notice how perfect the s2k's engine bay would fit a 3 or 4 rotor? :-P )

I'm currently leaning towards the S2k after test driving both it and the RX-8 back to back. If I do decide on the S, I think I'd like a hard top. I think a Rio Yellow S2k would look good with either a black or yellow hard top. I've done some searching and have seen several pictures of yellow S's with yellow hard tops, they look incredible... but I can't seem to find a yellow S with a black hard top. Does anyone have any pictures of this color hard top on a Rio Yellow S?
Also some questions:
Does the hard top reduce road and/or wind noise significantly?
Does the hard top improve aerodynamics significantly? Any improved freeway gas mileage?
I've read that its quick to take on and off, except for the fact that its dangerous to your paint job to use less than 2 people when lining it up.

Most people stick to the Color their car is. but I've seen a few race prepped cars that have black tops on "X" color. I'm also considering a black Hardtop on RioYellow. I wish I knew where to get Amuse's Black Hardtop....$$$ however.

 

try a search. i remember seeing a yellow car w/ black hardtop in the last month on this website. it looked pretty awesome.
