Possible new S2000 owner
Hello friends,
So long story short I sold my 04 WRX a few months ago and I'm itching to get something to fill the empty spot in my driveway. My original plan was to save up until spring and purchase a 370Z but during my travels through the internet I stumbled upon the S2000. I always liked this car but it slipped my mind while thinking about my next weekend warrior.
I also changed my mind on how much I want to spend on my next car. (I hate making payments). So basically since I don't want to spend $25,000 on my next car and looking to spend closer to $14,000 max, a high mileage S2000 is what I'm left looking for.
My question to those of you who are current owners is would you be hesitant about buying an S2000 with more than 100k on the clock?
I my Acura RSX that I use for my DD has 180k on the dash and other than brakes, tires and oil changes I haven't had to do much to it so I know that Honda's can go for decades if properly maintained. I have also found a few S2000's in my price range around the 80,000 mile range but since its the same cost as other S2000's with 120,000+ it makes me wonder why so much cheaper.
Any suggestions as to where and what to look for will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
