Hello
I went and test drove a 2007 S2000 and I was blown away. The most fun I've ever had behind the wheel of a car, in this case, it felt like a motorcycle on 4 wheels. My only concern is the insurance. I have 16 years of driving experience with a clean record and the damn insurance companies wanna rape me!??! What gives? It's not like it's a Porsche or a Ferrari!??!
Anyone have recommendations on where to shop for insurance? I've tried 21st century and AAA and to my surprise, AAA was cheaper!
Insurance is the only thing that's keeping me from my S2000!!!

If you are in California or Oregon, Wawanesa is a good choice, since it caters to drivers with excellent records. Otherwise, if all you want is low rates, try Geico, Esurance, etc. In my opinion, though, it's worth it to pay extra for insurance from a reputable company because it will make your life a hell of a lot easier if you ever do have to make a claim.
