Default Potential New Owner

Hey guys, I will soon hopefully become a proud S2000 owner, I registered a few weeks ago but never started any topic because I wasn't sure when I was going to be able to get the S2000 even tho i have been interested in getting one for quite a while now, I have decided that it will soon be my next car hopefully by next week.... First off, I want to thank you guys for creating this awesome forum from which i have learned a lot, you guys have been really helpful, I probably have read almost every single thread lol, from mods and parts to comparisons vs other cars, I don't think there is any other car i can compare the S2K with, already tried STI, Evo, 350z (G35-37), Miata, BRZ(FRS), Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, Challenger, Z4, TT, Crossfire, Solstice (Sky), Boxster, MR-2, Lotus and last but not least AP1 vs AP2... Well thats just off my head right now but I don't think there is anything else.... Now I haven't driven all these cars, but I still have made my mind that the car that i want is the S2000, I have watched every review and read almost every forum available, Im not interested in drag racing but i don't want my car to be slow (I think we all enthusiasts like speed from sports cars right ?) Still my main goal is a fun RWD car with great handling capabilities and decent straight-line speed so Im sure the S2000 will fit me well. Yesterday i went to see an MY05 New Formula Red black interior with 50k on the odometer, the car looked super clean and well maintained, top looked good also with no wear, it is mostly stock, it had a KN filter, Eibach suspension lowered 1 inch and a CR lip (Not sure if its OEM or not) I didnt have time to test it because the dealer was closing already but I was able to sit on it and turn it on at least, the interior was like brand new also, but my biggest concern was the check engine light was on, they told me it was the o2 sensor because the car also has a straight pipe, now Im not sure if thats true or not, I would like you guys to help me out and let me know if there is anything i should be aware off. Once again thank you so much for your help and apologize me for my long post, hope I can hang around with you guys soon.... the S2000 has become my dream car.

There is probably a test pipe installed. I hope your getting the car for 15k. Seems to be not stock. If I were you I would get a compression test before you buy and get someone experienced to look for bodywork. I don't like modded cars, you never know where it's been

Thanks for replying guys, hopefully tomorrow I will be able to test drive and check the car with more depth and time, I was interested in getting a complete stock one but that one has only a KN filter, pipe and the Eibach springs so I don't think there is too much of a difference between that and a stock one right ? But I guess you never know if they mod it and then switch OEM parts back.... Im also really interested in that one because it seems to be the best deal around, most of the S2Ks here on South Florida are kinda expensive, the low mileage ones are almost 20k or more, if I get an AP1 I want it to be at least MY03 but I prefer an AP2

My apologies for double posting.
