I have been driving my 2004 2.0 honda civic type s for 3 years of trouble free motoring and have decided to take the plunge and get something a bit different and more exciting

I am off to go look at an S2000 '51 reg just wondering if there is anything to look for on the test drive. The car look like a good one with full service history, 3 sets of keys, hardtop with 99k miles.

I have already done some research on s2ks at potential problems (timing chain tensioner being the main one) but i would imagine that would be easy to check on the test drive?

Is it just the general checks then ie rust, bodywork, and checking everything electrical works.

This looks like a good fourm from what i've seen already and hopefully be joining you all owning an s2k.
