Default Potential S2k Buyer

i actually was a member of this website back in 2001, when my parents bought me a yellow s2000. i absolutely loved it, but my parents ended up selling it to buy themselves a benz in 2003.
Since then, i have (finally) found myself a job and am now able to support myself independently. Once i decided to buy a new car, i went to the honda website to check out the s2000. I've decided to get the 2008 S2000 CR in white
I sent out a request for a price quote on a S2000 CR with the optional ac and stereo. I was very surprised to see the quote my dealership replied to me with:
"Dear Andrew,
Thank you for your request. Selling price for 2008 S2000 SR with A/C is 33,766. This price is available for internet buyers only, so please ask for Mike A. when you come in or call."
The honda website says the car goes for 37300. I was wondering if anyone on the forums knows how much people have bought the CR for. I'm thinking the sales rep made a mistake and quoted me for a regular S2K. (I assumed when he wrote "SR" it was a typo)
Thanks for the help!

Andrew

thats a really good deal if it turns out to be true. I would go in and check to see if it is legit or not. Good luck man.

Could be, as the CRs seem to be sitting. Nice car, at that price sounds like a nice deal. I'd go in to the dealer and see what happens.

You are much luckier than i am. They wouldn't even get the keys to unlock an s2000 for me without a credit check. I asked if i could test drive one and the guy kinda laughed and further implied i would have to start on paperwork first. 30,000 for a used 06 too...

Those CR's are beautiful though! Hope the deal pulls through!
