Default Price on a new 06

I'm going to purchace/pickup a black 06 tomorrow, and I want to know what a good price is. So far they're down $1000 off list plus options, but it seems like they could do a lot better. What have you other 06 owners paid?

There aren't really any options - unless you're talking about Dealer Accessories. Decent pricing on the 2006 (especially during Honda Clearance time) should be at least somewhere around $31,000 or less.

Have fun with the negotiations - some dealers still think S2000's are built out of gold.

what does your payment come out to be, roughly?

I am thinking of leasing then optioning to buy so I can keep my payments low now that my income is not enough to easily cover ~500 a month. I know I will be able to in 3 years though.

If you can qualify for the Honda Finance lease, it's not bad at all! $321 a month.

Crotchmonster,

The rule for a 30K car is about 600/month with 0 down.

Get your price, tax % and enter it into this calculator. That's if you're buying, I think they have a 3 down 299/mo lease though. I think you'll miss the torque of the M3, I know I did.

Hello redrum,

Have a look at the Introductions FAQ thread for some recent pricing.

Best wishes, and good luck in your hunt! Now should be a good time to start getting great pricing on these cars as the MY07 model year is around the corner.
