Default Price paid for recent AP2 purchases

Hey guys, I've been on the forum for about two months and I'm about to purchase an ap2 in the next 2-3 months (before Christmas). I was originally planning on spending no more than $22,000 for an 05 or 04 but I've seen several members in the Atlanta/Georgia area who purchased new ap2's for $29,xxx otd...and carsdirect.com quotes a price of $28,xxx for 07s in Georgia. I'm starting to feel that the $7,000 difference in price is almost worth it for a brand new s2k. To help me decide, can you guys give me some prices on what you paid for your ap2s (both used and new ones)? Maybe this will also give me a target for negotiating in the next few months .

I paid $19k for an immaculate low mile '04 and I consider it a good deal.

You shoud be able to buy a new 07 for $29,900 or less with no problem. I saw 3 at that 'asking' price this weekend in Knoxville. Black, Silver and White.

When was this? That seems a bit high if you purchased it recently. But then again prices so seem to vary heavily in different regions.

also, Alan...
I was refering to $29,000 OTD, the price you're refering to would probably land me somewhere around $31,000 after TTL.

I paid $26332 before tax and $27,500 with all tax, title, registration and everything. Keep in mind... certain colors are hard to find. By the way I bought it with 15,630 miles on it.

Thanks for all the response...can you guys include when and where you purchased the car? As I stated earlier it seems that prices vary greatly across different regions.
