Hello everyone! My names Josh, I'm finally a proud owner of a certified 2005 Honda S2K formula Red w/ only 15k miles. I LOVE IT!

Now I do have a few questions because I searched and couldn't find any info.
~Debadging, I love the clean look, any tips on removing the Honda Logo, and possibly the S2000 lettering?
~Door locks, the passenger side locks but doesnt unlock when i use the driver side controls. Is this a problem? The salesman insisted it was designed that way, which didn't make much sense to me lol
~Finally, any recommended sites for customizing my S2000? (exhaust, intake, etc.)

The locks problem you should have a switch on your panel that allows the driver side controls to work or not work. It is a long red toggle type switch.

 

Thanks Dave, I haven't had time to look fool around with all the switches. haha. Anyone have tips on debadging? I dont want to damage the paint at all, so tips would be very helpful. Thanks guys!

 

Hello Josh, I am also new to this forum, but I have been spending my time with my S2000s for some years.
I would suggest basic modifications like:

- Mugen Exhaust pipe
- ARC air intake
- HKS or Tein suspension
- +/- J's racing ECU

If you are going to debadged, you'll have to have your bumpers shaved--there are holes
that the badge mounts to which would look pretty ugly if uncovered.

The door lock works as the salesman described. I always have to lean over to
unlock it when I have a passenger. The passenger side will unlock with
two clicks of your remote, however.

mod the car... My first mods were clear side marker lights, Rick's badges,
and HKS hi-power exhaust. Then K&N intake, KW v2 coilovers, various CF
parts in the engine bay, and hood dampers. Limited to your imagination!
