Default Proud new S2k owner

Herro! I recently just bought a 01 S2k over Labor Day weeknd. I love this car, it is super fun to drive. The car is completely stock, one owner, and has abt 118k miles, but the P.O. has done the latest 120k tuneup, new clutch, new a/c, new bridgestone tires, always garage kept (paint and interior dash, seats reflect that). I feel like I got a well maintained, well kept S2k. The car has been dealer maintained since it rolled off the lot and the P.O. gave me all the paper work. There is one issue though and that is there is a tear (more like two small holes) on each side of the soft top. After doing research i found that the tears were a common problem w/ S2k's.

I'm currently in school and don't have much money but hopefully once i'm finished with school I can start restoring it and I would really like to get an OEM hardtop sometime down the line. I do have a 99 Corolla that I use as a daily, but i've been driving the S2k this whole week because it's super fun and the awesome weather came right when I got the keys to the car!

Other than that, I'm happy to have finally joined the S2k gang and the S2ki forums... I've been lurking for some time, I was here frequently researching the S2000's before I finally bought one.
