In the Northern VA area, there are several dealer ships that will sell you a leftover 06 for 28K + TTF.

mrsteve...are you on Acurazine as well?

As far as the 06 goes - jump on it...chance to a get a great car for a steal 29k +TTL sounds like a deal to me.

Your offer is very fair. I talked mine to $29,492 MSRP in May of 2006. It was around $36k out the door after I got conned into getting zaino and a bunch of other dealer crap though.
But I thought that I read in another post that your parents financed the car for you, and they are currently paying for it?

I work in the Auto industry. Specifically finance.

If there's a rebate, take invoice + rebate with your own financing.

If there's no rebate, take invoice w/ 0% if you qualify.

And don't "fight" for invoice. Give the dealership 200-500 over.

I paid $28,400 for my left over '03 in 2004. I would say your offer is a fair one.

Just a food for thought.........

Yeah, you can by a brand NEW 06 for maybe 28K plus tax, but it's still a year old car in the books. You are already buying a ~5K deprecited car before driving off the lot.

Why not just by a used 06' with really low miles private party from some old guy in that case?

If I were looking for a new car, why buy something that's labled 06', unless you plan to keep the car for a very long time and are:

Here are some examples , not sure what color you are looking for
