Default Run away or buy?

So I've been on the hunt for an s2k for a few months now. I've found a pretty clean, stock, blue s2000 for 80k miles asking price of 11.8k.
So far everything looked pretty good. Car looks flawless etc. Then I looked up the carfax. It's had 6 owners and Owner 2 wrecked the car into a guardrail. It says

"Accident reported
involving right side impact
it hit a guardrail
vehicle functional
airbags did not deploy"

"Parts requested for repair
structural damage reported****
front crossmember/cradle

carfax recommends checking these repairs during your pre-purchase inspection."

So my question is should I stay away from this car? The whole structural damage thing is slightly concerning to me as I don't want to buy a car to find out the frame is bent or something

Any advice is appreciated.

I also posted this in S2k talk, thought it would get more attention there

I would not buy a car with frame damage. It seems like the 4 owners after were quick to get rid of it as well.

Does structural damage definitely mean a bent frame, etc?

I would have a very good alignment person take a look at the car for you, they will be able to tell if there is damage that would cause issues like unable to align it properly or excessive tire wear. Or the easy thing to do would be just keep looking. I would not let the number of owners bother you, mine had 4 or 5 before me...they probably just did not like the car? who knows.

Good luck with your search!

I might buy it for $10K IF the alignment checks out and a complete PPI checks out.

Realize that because of the Frame report, this car will always be a consumable/parts car as opposed to a collectable
