Hi everyone. Well I just bought my dads S2000. It's completely stock, and I'm kind of a nub with a stick but I still love driving it. I having been doing a lot of research and watching videos on different exhaust systems because I want it to sound a little more mean. So far I like the First Racing exhaust sound the best, especially the ones with headers and test pipe. I know the test pipe is illegal for street and my question is, do you think it's so loud to the point where the cops are gonna be bothering me all the time? Or will they probably not even notice if I don't rev it up too much around them? Also I read that some people were getting the Car Sound catalytic converter instead of a test pipe. Do you think there would be a huge difference in sound there?

Welcome and yes an exhaust is a good first mod. First off we have a 4 cylinder engine so just a header no s lol not trying to break your balls, just saying. If you want a deep growling exhaust that isnt crazy loud go with the Greddy Tic Single or if you want loud the N1 is LOUD. Test pipe will just add more air flow and is like a high flow cat but not street legal. It is also around $80 compared to $300.
