Default s2000 buying help asappp

So i found a 2000 s2000 with 95k miles clean title 2 owner.
Has tein coilovers
corbeau racing seats
some custom huge intake into the bumper
apexi something timer or tuner
upgraded alpine stereo with amp.
racing clutch
full exhaust.
gears
and upgraded front breaks.

it has a 1ft dent on the right rear quarter panel, and scratches on front bumper.
the guy is selling for 9000 firm.

I cant find a mechanic to help me its in northridge, ca. and i am going tomorrow at 9-10am. if any members on here can help illl give you 50 dollars.

i have the buying checklist, from this forum, but i need to know major things to look for please help.

I believe this is the wrong section, you should check out the southern california section, you would probably have more luck finding someone to help you out there. GL

I think for $9000 you should be able to find a 100k mile 00/01 in much better condition.

I found a 2003 with 98000 miles for same price. but he is a lot farther.
and this one has a crazy mods list, i would rather buy a modded one.

I just need a forum member to helpp me.

Weird that you would buy a modded one. I'd take the 03 over the 00 anyday.

Agreed modded cars are usually someones problem they are trying to dump... I know I have a friend that has bought modded car after modded car, and all of them have had one issue or another, none of them cheap to fix... For whatever reason he still buys them... Glutton for punishment I guess

I would suggest not buying the modded one unless you knew the owner and the history of the car from day one.

I bought it, it needs a new front bumper maybe just a repaint, dent in rear quater removed, and a new drivers side axle.
